This was the best Fitter and Faster camp that we have attended yet. The clinicians not only communicated clearly to the children they did a great job at explaining things to the parents. They were in the water with the kids almost the entire time and did a great job of helping them on the spot and showing them the right way individually. This individualized attention is something that is hard for club coaches to give. It was amazing they were able to do it with the size of the group we had. – Parent in Mesa, AZ

We’re glad that my kids were able to learn detailed and useful tips on breakouts, starts, diving, finishes, and more. They especially enjoyed the teacher’s demonstration, as it’s rare for kids to see a coach perform these skills in person. Fitter and Faster was a great experience for my son, but also for me. The amount of learning that took place in two sessions was unbeatable. Not only are we learning from a professional athlete in the sport of swimming, but the knowledge that they bring to the pool is undeniable. The importance of dryland training and nutrition were a big part of the camp and the role they play in becoming a better swimmer. The drills were broken down perfectly and each skill was isolated and practiced (i.e., legs, arms, breathing). Each drill was demonstrated and the swimmers were able to explain what they noticed in the demonstration and apply it to their own practice. After each isolation and practice, the swimmers were able to put it all together. It was clear the progress that was being made. The focus was not on speed itself, but if you have the right technique, it will lead you to be better and faster. The clinicians were very attentive to all the swimmers and when they noticed something that needed to be corrected, they approached the swimmer positively, helped them correct their stroke, watched them make the correction and provide more feedback. My son will definitely attend another Fitter and Faster swim camp in the future! – Brooke in Waterloo, ON

My son and I were both very happy with every part of the clinic. I saw growth in his technique by the end of the session on his starts and streamlines. It felt like something clicked. HUGE improvement

Another great clinic! By day 2, I could see a HUGE improvement in my daughter’s overall stroke. The clinicians were able to break down the stroke piece by piece which allowed my daughter to identify where she needed to make changes and immediately apply those corrections with the help of targeted drills and clinician feedback. Thanks to this clinic, I know she will be more effective in practice and will see time drops in her IM. Both were the reason we chose this clinic. – Colleen in Lawrenceville, GA
