Bio

Anya Mostek is a history-making backstroker and all-around elite sprinter competing for Harvard University. Hailing from Haverford, Pennsylvania, Anya established herself early as a standout at the Phoenixville Area YMCA and earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American four times before heading to Cambridge.

In 2023, Anya travelled to Chengdu, China to compete for Team USA in the World University Games. She swam the 100 meter backstroke, was part of the 400 meter free relay, and earned the silver medal for the 50 meter backstroke.

At Harvard, Anya developed into one of the most dominant backstrokers in the conference’s history. She achieved a rare sweep by winning the 100-yard backstroke title at the Ivy League Championships four years in a row. During her senior campaign in 2026, she shattered her own records, becoming the first Ivy League swimmer ever to break the 52-second barrier in the 100 backstroke, an accomplishment she replicated while leading off Harvard’s record-breaking 400 Medley Relay. Her incredible consistency and speed earned her the Career High Point Swimmer award at the 2026 Ivy League Championships. She is also a two-time NCAA Championship qualifier.

Anya brings an elite understanding of the sport to all her camps. She also has the intelligence and vocabulary to communicate her ideas, and the energy to engage and inspire a new generation of Fitter & Faster athletes!
