Ceasar’s mission is to “Build Better Humans.” His coaching and teaching philosophy goes beyond the pool, focusing on the complete development of the swimmer to prepare them for life’s challenges. He challenges athletes to be intentional and engaged in everything they do, from refining technique to building an awareness of their body position in the water.
A life-threatening accident in college ended his dreams of becoming a special forces operator, but the long road of recovery and rehab gave him a renewed appreciation for the demands of the sport. This experience has shaped his belief that the swimmers who succeed are not just the hardest workers, but the ones with the most “accumulated hours of intention and engagement.”
Swimming has taught Ceasar the importance of discipline and consistency, building a resilience that has prepared him for success in all aspects of his life. He believes in the value of caring for his athletes, operating on the philosophy that “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
