Dan Mascolo has dedicated his career not just to developing fast swimmers, but to elevating the profession of coaching itself. With decades of experience on deck, Dan made a profound impact during his tenure leading the Greater Spartanburg YMCA. There, he built a culture of excellence that produced national-level athletes and consistently placed the program among the elite YMCA teams in the country.

Beyond team success, Dan is a recognized leader in coach education. As a former Director of Events for the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA), he played a pivotal role in shaping how coaches engage in the sport, helping them get training and certification in the United States. An ASCA Level 5 coach himself, Dan brings a deep, scientifically-backed understanding of long-term athlete development to every clinic he leads.
