A 2021 Tokyo Olympian for his home country of Germany, Eric Friese’s journey from Potsdam to the University of Florida is a testament to precision, purpose, and relentless drive. At Florida, he became one of the most dependable and dynamic sprinters in the NCAA — a 3-time NCAA Champion, 2-time NCAA Record Holder, 16-time All-American, and a key part of the Gators’ powerhouse relays.

Eric is known for his incredible attention to detail — whether it’s the subtle timing of a breakout, the rhythm of a turn, or the focus needed to execute under pressure. His core belief that “the little things make the biggest difference” has guided his own success and shapes how he coaches young swimmers today.

Having grown up without access to clinics like Fitter & Faster, Eric is passionate about creating opportunities for the next generation. He loves helping swimmers understand that small technical and mental improvements add up to major breakthroughs. In his sessions, athletes learn not just how to swim faster — but how to think like champions, build resilience, and leave every practice more confident than they arrived.

Eric brings Olympic experience, elite-level skill, and genuine enthusiasm to every camp. His goal is simple: to help each swimmer walk away motivated, energized, and excited about what they can achieve in the water.
