FROM THE CLINICIAN

The Mental Game: One of the biggest lessons I learned is that the mental game is a HUGE part of swimming. Having been out of the sport for a few years, I look back and recognize how much more I could have done if I had paid more attention to that critical component. I want to help young swimmers master their mindset early so they can reach their full potential.

Energy & Charisma: I am an energetic and charismatic leader! I believe in giving constructive feedback while maintaining a positive and fun environment. Swimming is hard work, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be enjoyable.

The Power of a Role Model: I believe having a positive role model is so important in youth sports! My coaches played a huge role in who I am today, and I relied on my teammates to push me to my limits. I would love to be that person for a young swimmer, even if it’s just for a weekend. I love creating safe spaces for kids to learn and grow.

Resilience & Determination: Because of swimming, I am a highly determined, resilient, and hardworking individual. Qualifying for the Olympic Trials for the first time had a huge impact on my career, showing me what was possible when you commit to your goals. I am passionate about helping all swimmers reach their goals, no matter how big or small.
