A three-time Olympian representing Canada (2016, 2020, 2024), Sydney Pickrem is an Olympic bronze medalist and two-time World Champion. She earned her Olympic bronze medal as a member of Canada’s 4x100m medley relay at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and has been a consistent podium contender in the IM and breaststroke at the FINA World Championships.
During her standout collegiate career at Texas A&M University, Sydney was an 11-time All-American and SEC Swimmer of the Year. Now coaching at the collegiate level, she is passionate about helping young athletes grow through the sport by emphasizing patience, discipline, and teamwork. Sydney’s journey—marked by both triumphs and challenges—makes her story deeply relatable. She inspires swimmers to find joy in the process and focus on continuous improvement, rather than just the final result.
